BATP provides tailored Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to address challenging behaviors and enhance skill-building, improving your child's quality of life. The first step toward treatment involves interviews, observations, and assessments, leading to a Functional Behavior Assessment and a Treatment Plan prepared by a Behavior Consultant.
Your dedicated team may include a Behavior Consultant, one-on-one specialists, Behavior Health Technicians, and possibly a Mobile Therapist. We prioritize continuous training and adhere to rigorous standards, ensuring that all interventions are evidence-based/informed and effective.
IBHS Intensive Behavioral Health Services (Ages 5-21)
Our Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) program caters to children, youth, and young adults aged 5 to 21 who do not have a primary diagnosis of autism. Many of our clients face challenges such as psychological trauma, ADHD, addictions, depression, anger, and behavioral issues.
In this program, we offer a variety of services including group therapy, referrals to summer work programs, and Applied Behavior Analysis. Our approach is collaborative; we engage with the professionals involved in our clients' lives, including psychiatrists for medication management, and we provide access to social services to address everyday challenges.
Each client's care is guided by relevant documents such as a Functional Behavior Analysis, a 504 plan, or an IEP, ensuring that our interventions are tailored to their specific needs. Read more
Our Early Intervention program uses an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) approach tailored for children aged 2 to 5. This vital service takes place in daycare centers, focusing on enhancing each child's development through personalized support.
The work is often guided by an Individual Education Plan (IEP) or a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA). Our dedicated Personal Care Assistants work closely with just one child, ensuring focused attention and care. Collaboration is key; we work alongside other professionals, including Occupational Therapists, Educators, Medical professionals, and Speech & Language Therapists, to create a comprehensive support network.
We proudly provide these services in partnership with Elwyn and the State of Pennsylvania, aiming to foster positive outcomes for every child we serve. Read more
Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) (Ages 2-7)
Our Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) program is a short term treatment program designed to enhance the interactions between parents and their children, specifically targeting ages 2 to 7.
PCIT is a wonderful evidence-based program that improves the parent child relationship. We work with the child and the caregiver together to improve behavior and reduce parenting stress. This treatment addresses conduct problems and aims to increase compliance with parental guidance.
Through PCIT, parents can expect to see reduced stress, improved parenting skills, and a stronger parent-child relationship. Ultimately, the goal is to facilitate positive growth, transforming relationships into sources of healing and support. By empowering parents with effective skills, we strive to lessen the adversity of strained interactions and foster healthier family dynamics.
