Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) 

 

Job Description: 

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) implements behavioral health services under the close supervision of a Behavior Consultant (BC). The BHT works one-on-one or in group settings with clients aged 5-21, their families, and other involved professionals. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Implement evidence-based strategies from the treatment plan. 

Keep the child engaged and motivated. 

Create a therapeutic environment. 

Collaborate with teachers and staff when appropriate. 

Provide timely EHR documentation of work performed. 

Supervise the child/youth/young adult at all scheduled times. 

Qualifications: 

At minimum, a High School Diploma with 2 years of experience working with children. Or a bachelor's degree with 1-year paid experience preferred. 

Registered Behavior Technician training of 40 hours is required in Philadelphia or 30 hours in Bucks, Montgomery, and Delaware counties. 

Obtain and maintain necessary clearances (criminal record, child abuse, and FBI). 

Maintain First Aid certification. 

Reliable transportation is required. 

Behavior Consultant (BC) 

Behavior Consultant (BC) 

Job Description: 

The Behavior Consultant (BC) provides comprehensive behavioral health services, working closely with clients to assess needs and develop individualized treatment plans. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Conduct comprehensive multi-systemic assessments. 

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. 

Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions. 

Ensure BHT team is effectively implementing treatment plans. 

Collect and analyze data to inform treatment decisions. 

Provide timely EHR documentation of work performed. 

Qualifications: 

Master’s degree in psychology, applied behavior analysis, social work, education, or related field with clinical experience. 

Clinical license (e.g., psychologist, professional counselor, clinical social worker, behavior specialist). 

 

Mobile Therapist (MT)

 

Job Description: 

The Mobile Therapist (MT) provides Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) to children, youth, and young adults in their homes, schools, or communities. As part of a collaborative team with Behavior Consultants (BCs) and Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs), the MT develops and implements individualized treatment plans. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans. 

Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions. 

Document progress on EHR and attend ongoing training. 

Work effectively with diverse groups of people. 

Qualifications: 

Master’s degree in a relevant field with clinical experience. 

Clinical license preferred. 

Maintain reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. 

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
